Time for an Ethanol Pipeline?

Two lawmakers from Iowa say it's time for this country to build a pipeline to efficiently move ethanol to the coasts. And, they say, the government should offer loan guarantees to encourage private investment.

Right now, ethanol is primarily transported by rail. A new report just released by the Department of Energy concludes a dedicated ethanol pipeline from the Midwest to the Eastern Seaboard is feasible.
